Wooton & Bean – Refer a Friend Scheme: Terms & Conditions
Thank you for supporting Wooton & Bean. Our Refer a Friend Scheme rewards individuals who
recommend our mortgage and insurance services to their friends, family, or colleagues. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully.
- Eligibility
– The scheme is open to existing clients and contacts of Wooton & Bean who refer a new client to us for a mortgage or insurance product.
– The referred individual must be a new client to Wooton & Bean and must not have previously engaged in our services.
- Gaining Consent
– It is the responsibility of the person that’s been referred to clearly inform the firm of the referrers name at the initial enquiry stage to be eligible for the Reward.
- The Reward
– voucher will be issued to the referrer upon successful completion of the referred business. Only one reward is payable per successful referral, but multiple referrals are allowed and eligible for separate rewards.
- Mortgage Referrals
– The referred mortgage must:
– Complete and a procuration fee received by the lender.
– Result in the lender paying the procuration fee to Wooton & Bean in excess of £500.
– Declined, withdrawn, or cancelled applications do not qualify for a referral reward.
- Insurance Referrals
– The referred insurance policy (life insurance, critical illness cover, or income protection) must:
– Be taken out in good faith, with the genuine intention of maintaining cover.
– Be active and in force.
– A minimum monthly premium of £25 per month
– Policies cancelled within 6 months of commencement without valid reason may be considered ineligible.
- Reward Process
– Once the qualifying criteria are met, the referrer will be emailed the voucher.
– Vouchers will be issued within 30 days of confirmation that the referral is successful and meets all conditions. Wooton & Bean are not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers once issued.
- General Terms
– Referrals must be made before the referred client engages with Wooton & Bean. Retrospective referrals will not be accepted.
– The referred individual must not be referred by any other introducer.
– This scheme is not available to employees or contractors of Wooton & Bean.
– Wooton & Bean reserves the right to withdraw, amend, or suspend the scheme at any time and to withhold rewards where there is suspected abuse or fraud.
– No cash alternative is available.
– Available to over 18’s and UK residents only.
